Has any body had to repair the plastic gas bottle holder tray in the front locker? mine is like a plastic recessed tray that the bottle sits in. The bottom is cracked and I do not want the bottle to fall through when towing!

Hi Marty, just done mine in my 215 gts, I used a fibre glass kit with the mesh and sandwitched it together with some thin plywood, realy solid now, have fun cause it's messyy.

It's worth a closer look as ours has a metal bar running across underneath, but fibre glass will fix it

No metal in mine. Great idea with the fibre glass kit,I will give that a go.

Just got round to fibre glass repair, it was a messy job but is a good strong repair.

I have just used a piece of Mesh. The type used for garden flower support. The mesh is about 50x50mm and plastic coated. Cut it out like a plus sign and folded it over to suite the depth and width then fitted in the hole and screwed the sides on.
