can anyone help!!!!!!  i have a carver water heater , just replaced non return valve connected gas up and heated up water but have now got a leak on hard casing by non return valve , it resembles a fine jet like when you bleed a radiator .i havent removed heater yet , just wondered if anyone had any ideas ?!!!!

I would first check you have fitted your new new part correctly, the fitting seals at the top where the o ring is and therefore must screw all the way in.
I've a feeling you have not cleaned the threads up in the casting and the fitting is not fully home
