If you have a switch that says Caravan / Car , make sure it's set to the middle setting which is off , if it's set to Caravan it will switch on relays and this will drain the battery ( it may be the same with the Car setting but i don't know for sure ) . Also check to see if you have your aerial amplifer switched on .
If your hooked up to the mains and the battery is still going flat then i would be checking your battery charger is working .
Being a new caravan i would be looking to the dealer to fix it under warranty.
read about a problem on a new swift with the same problem of battery drainage.turned out to be the alarm system had a faulty or non connected alarm battery.this caused the alarm to drain direct from the main battery.could also being a new van trapped wires going to earth/negative.like wizard i think battery charger is favorite.

well mine is a sprite not a swift but presto same problem the dealers are looking at it now we leave it all switche off and its flat i thought i had forgotten first time so just recharged and started again second blaed battery so replaced now its still going flatill let you know how i get on if i get a reply oin the near future
Just a thought but when my electrics did not work via battery I thought it had drained but checking each option it turned out to be a broken fuse..simple...maybe have a look?

There is a faulty batch of chargers fitted to Swift Group vans. These are the consumer unit type supplied by Nordic Electronica.
After use for a short while they fail. The 12v system then goes down when the battery runs out. I know that the 12v system should work even without a battery, but with these faulty chargers, it doesn't.
I speak from first hand experience having had three of these charges fitted in my new Swift since 28th February 2009.
march 2009,others may use same charger, just a thought.gary would know more about it.
