Knew I should have left it alone, but I didn't!

Had a bit of misting in the front window, so decided to remove a plug to let it dry out today.

BUT...the plug didn't all come out and fell apart, now I have some bits trapped in the double glazed plastic window.

Any ideals how I might retrieve this?

Also where can I get a new plug, as I might just have to leave it there and put a new one in??

I read about this topic here a few weeks ago, but the search isnt working atm. replacement bungs are hard to get hold of , but someone suggested the top of a bic biro fits the hole . and someone else used something that I just cant remember , i think it may have been the end of a suction cup ?

A square of clear tape over hole does the job.

thanks for the tips.

Dealer said he had some, then when I just popped in there, they don't

Nothing like wasting fuel on a wasted journey is there?

Found a biro, with a pinky top, so should blend in nicely. Will c if it fits in a bit.

Also got some garden wire, to see if I can fish the bits out, but if not no big deal.

Thanks again!

I found the little white plugs that you use on kitchen cupboard holes fit perfectly. These are small plugs that cover holes that are not required.

I'll try that tomorrow. My bic top bit didn't fit.

Couldn't get the bits out....looks like they are there for good.

Miriad were kind enough to send me a few FOC and no P&P, just in an envelope with a compliments slip. Damned good customer service if you ask me, a few more companies could take a leaf out of there book.

Well done Miriad Products
