Hi my son inlaws fridge wont ignite the gas pilot when you press the the piezo igniter weve checked that gas is getting through , ive been told the peizo igniter needs replacing. Does anyone if this can be done without pulling the fridge out is there any easy way of doing this ps need it this weekend cos going on none elec site e.g Elvaston cheers Stan
hi had the same problem with my fridge could not get it to light on piezo at all took off bottom vent to have a look all looked ok put tester on wire from piezo while wife pushed it in voltage there ok then droped the burner assembly and checked spark working ok i then i seen a a flat plate with a twist in it i found out it was a baffell plate that had droped down fixed it back up in its right place and now all working fine so please check piezo before you spend out on new one
Thanks for everyones imput after further investigation took the outside bottom grill plate off and discovered wire had come off the igniter refitted and hey presto it lights thanks for the help. cheers Stan
