Does anybody have any suggestions about a possible remedy?
I have discovered a leak, sorry not sure about the correct terminology - the blue water tube pump which goes into the aqua roll when connected to the caravan the plug in part when you turn on the water in the van there is a leak from this connection. Its not leaking much but I am concerned if I dont do anything now it may get worse.
Is it truma or whale? I have changed my truma to the ultraflow which connects easier. Try some vegetable oil on the rubber seal to get it to connect properly.
when i had this i discovered it was pipe had pulled off inside.i must have pulled too hard taking it out.easy to mend if same.remove two screws from the white block and you will see one side carries the wiring and the other side of the tube just pushes on.push tube fully home and re-screw.if split you need to cut a bit off the top but this means removing the two terminals on the end of the wire to get to the end of the tubes..
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
I had a problem with water leaking at the connection to the caravan, the problem was that the O ring rubber was preventing the pump from seating properly,I coated the O ring rubber with Olive oil and the pump connection slid on perfectly, problem solved,no leaks.Hope this works for you.
The rubber O ring failing is a common fault and are easily replaced usually sold by dealers in packs of 2. only other blue pipe fault sometimes the connecytions come loose and need tightened the one at the pump can be replaced with a cable tie.
