We've just noticed that the front blind of our Nova 465 is slightly uneven when open.  There's no problem with closing it, it just doesn't seem to retract all the way on one side when we open it.  Maybe it's always been like this and we just haven't noticed because of the net curtains?  Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it, and how we can remedy it?  (Now that we're aware of it, it's really annoying!)  Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Dave,

there are a few things to look at depending if the side that dose fully retract is tight up against the outer body of the blind. If it is tight then the blind it self has started coming away from the inner pole on the loose side thus making it look lop-sided, which can be fixed by dismantling the unit and putting the blind straight on the pole. The second is the spring tension is becoming weak, this is adjusted from the side of the unit by a flat blade screwdriver and turning the white plug and carefully pulling it out a little, then turning it the same way the blind goes when it retracts, but not to much as you wont be able to pull the blind all the way down.
hope this helps

Thanks, Debbie.  Sorry for the delayed response, believe it or not this is due to Dave's wonky leg! He ended up back at the hospital after a recent operation and is now splinted from ankle to thigh.  Hopefully he will be fit and well in time for our trip to France at the end of the month.

Thanks for the advice.
