We are going to reseal the awning rails, but what size do we get 19mm or 32mm ?
Or do the awning rail widths vary on different caravans?
the rail is wider than 19 but not as wide as 32 I think?

I found that using strip mastic the same size or larger than the rail, once fitted to the caravan and screwed down it tends to squeeze out a little and I found trying to tidy up the edges were a pain. Trying to trim off the excess without damaging the paintwork, it just did not look too good and the edge is grey which makes it look dirty.
I use mastic thinner than the rail (19mm) then on the edges Sikaflex 512 caravan, which I find easier to get a "nice" finish. The edge is white and looks better (in my opinion) and more importantly it stays looking good (not darkening or blackening over time)
I recently re-sealed the off-side awning rail with pleasing results but have not posted it on my website yet as I have been busy.
