Anyone help please.

I'm trying to locate the small plug that connects 2 thin wires to my gas fire igniter.

My small plug has corroded away.

Igniter works fine.

Any suggestions how to connect the wires? Tried solder. Doesn't work.

Hi. I had one of the wires come away from the battery box. Is this where you mean or is it where the wires connect into the igniter? Or is it even further along the chain?

The small plug on the end of 2 wires has corroded away. This plug connects 2 thin wires to the battery box on the igniter.30
