Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove caravan etchings on windows.

We have bought a set of windows to replace on the front of our caravan, but they have the old vin no; etc on the windows, and we want to put our new vin no. with a stencil kit you can buy for £15.00.

How to we remove the old etchings?
