Hi all
Am a new member with a (I hope a small damp prob)bought bought the van 6 yrs ago with a very small trace of damp above the door and paid £600.00 to have the van resealed and the damp cured. However the problem has not been removed and I note that the discolouration is beginning to creep along the ceiling wall line.on an exterior inspection I have noticed that the strip across the roof is not w/tight immediately above where the damp has shown itself and I suspect that this is where the most likely spot would be to try a remedy. As the roof of my van(ABI Northstar)is a boat type has anyone any idea where I can obtain replacement plastic cover strip.I am thinking of resealing before attempting the more serious stripping of the interior

roof,if you can  not reseal by removal and refit it this may be an option as it can be painted after.if you need complete waterproof for many years look at pond tape as used for garden pond liners.better to take off and use sikaflex if you can.or
