Can anybody give me some advice as to how long it is likely to take to have a 5" dent repaired through the Caravan Club insurance. The dent is at the front above the window on the curve of the roof. I am just keen to see if it is likely to take days, weeks or months and wondered what other peoples experience is.

Thank you for any help.

Daryl

depends on if it needs a new roof or not.if so could take months.has it gone through the skin? if its fill and spray then you will find it sooner. our friend waited 11 months for a new side skin.

the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

I don't think its gone through the skin. Just a dent, like maybe hit by a football. If so, do think think the likely fix is a fill and spray?

Thanks.

i dont want to burst anyones bubble but you dont pull out small dents, you push them out.if its a small dent they will in all probablity push most of it out if they can get at it from the inside.i assume that the skin is aluminium? aluminium does not lend itself to the paintless dent repair technique.

A dent can be filled and painted within a few days.

could be wrong but i do not think they will want to remove the roof panels inside.question is, is there a void or is the outer skin touching the inner roof lining.
