ready to roll this weekend went to test the back lights and ...... every time I press the brake lights it feeds both back indicaters , and if your indicating and press the brake both indicaters flas as well as brake lights !! any suggestions bad earths etc ??
tried the car on a pals trailer, exacly the same fault !! its the car socket thanks for the replys guys at least I will be trying to fix the right thing now !!
Hi grooverman, You do not say how old the van or car is, if car is newish and van is older,or vice versa, it could be van or car is wired to the old standard,(could be same with your pals car) should check your plugs on van for lose or broken wire(touching) check car plug may be old and need replaced,and as sugested check for bad earth. cant find the link for the new wiring standard.
