We are off to the IoW for a UKCS Meet this coming Friday so i thought I would give the caravan a quick check over.
I had a look underneath the front locker and was horrified, with the weight of a 6kg gas bottle the bottom of the holder was hanging out the plastic has cracked half of the way around!
If that had broke the rest of the way in our travels the gas bottle would have fell though the bottom and on to the road.
So my old skills at boat repairs have finally come in handy. I have made a GRP tray to sit inside the plastic liner to support the gas bottle.
