I have an old (20 years plus) Sprite. With the help of info from here I have fixed the leaks and done up the inside. I now come to the out side I know how to paint the aluminium (tinkers paint). However the front box is made of fibreglass and has been painted in the past, it is now peeling off. Can any one tell me how to remove the peeling paint while not damaging the fibreglass. Also what paint do I use for the fibreglass? Your advice is needed!!!

Your best to use a rubbing block or sander to make it flat, any car paint will do as they are water based.Appy an undercoat then the colour coat and seal with clear varnish.
