We have the Thetford C250 fitted to the Ranger, it refuses to flush when you press the blue button,

Inside where the caset goes there is a fuse so changed that just in case, still did not work, so called Thetford direct and was told to remove the small panel where you flush it by lifting the sticker a bit and inserting a small screwdriver to lift the panel underneath did this and removed the circuit board from it and replaced it still did not work, so they are sending another circuit board direct to me.

If this does not work they said it could be the pump and that an engineer would need to fit it if it was that

Has anyone had the same problem and was it easily rectified??/

You can change the pump yourself on a C250, it easier to do if you remove the unit completely, 4 screws in the floor of the waste cassette bay and 4 in the filler housing. once you've pulled the unit away from the wall the pump is right there infront of you.
might be as simple as a loose wire, but the £35 pump only take minutes to remove and replace.

They might have said it's an engineer only job if it's a warrantee repair.

I had the same problem, checked the fuse...was ok. A usefull tip is when you flush do the lights dim ? If so its the pump. Takes minutes to remove. Simply leave connected electrically and turn impeller with screw driver at the blades and try to flush again, should cure in seconds.
