I've read a few posts on here and just wanted to confirm that t-cut is good for getting the windows looking like new. We have a 1990 ABI Nightstar and have owned it for three months so it needed a bit of tlc. I used t-cut then turtle wax polish and the windows are absolutely gleaming. I saw an advert in a caravan club rally brochure and it said not to use t-cut as this makes the window BLOOM? What on earth is this guy talking about? He also said that he uses a 'special polish' which is probably t-cut in a different bottle with a label he printed himself saying 'Dr. Bulls**ts special caravan window polish'.....!
I read that too about T cut making the window bloom or fogging and i must admit i have been advising people not to use it ( i wasnt the only one )The problem with plastic windows is the dirt that scratches them.I have tried washing them down with a hose before washing and still found they scratch, now i use a waterless cleaner/polish and they shine like new with no scratches.
i have used Tcut in the past without a problem, just dont press on too hard. minor scratches can be removed with toothpaste.i also have a broken window from a scrapper to test any cleaners before use.brasso is good too.test base of window first.
