Hey all

On site this week with the folks. After setting up our van & awning, then doing theirs, I've just found their water pump doesn't work & the toilet flush has died as well.

Their van is a 2000-2004 Swift Charisma.

please bear with me, their van is younger than ours so i'm not too used to the setup inside.

In the electrical cupboard next to the door, under the battery meter, there is a switch marked "PUMP" A red led is supposed to come when the switch is on. the led won't light when pressed so no water at the taps.

Checked all connections at the pump socket & water heater but can't find anything amiss. Is there any other fuses in these that I can't see to check?

Likewise, the thetford toilet ( the one with the rotating toilet bowl & blue flush button) won't flush. I replaced the 3 amp fuse in the compartment but has made no difference.

Am I right in thinking that both these are on the 12 volt side & may be linked?

Any help & advice gratefully received, mainly so I've not got my mum on my back all week of my hols!!!!

Please Help!!

I recall a similar thread regarding the pump and loo flush failing. Check out the small fuses in the consumer unit too as there could be a common fuse for both these circuits.
Have a look for these type of fuses for 12v use. You can check if any have blown once removed as they're transparent and the link wire will be broken.
