I presume that you have your generator plugged into the mains hook-up on your van. In this case, all of your systems should act the same as if you were on a mains hook-up.
Bear in mind that the charger fitted to the caravan only charges at a very slow rate - if you wish to charge your battery at a reasonable speed you really need to have a charger connected directly between the generator and the battery. If your generator has a 12v take off you can use this but be careful you do not 'boil' the battery.
I'm sure there are people who are qualified to give you more accurate advice but this is what I have learned from my own expeience.
