OK stupid question. I am in the process of changing all the halogen bulbs for LED’s. On order from Amazon. My question is before I break a fitting, how do you take it apart to expose the halogen bulb? There are 3 ‘D’ shaped dowels on the front ring and looks like a retaining clip on the side. Do I push this clip in then pull apart the lens from the body. Has anyone had one of these apart? From memory I think the front ring flips off with a small screwdriver and then the glass falls out (normally down the back of the bunk!) exposing the G4 lamp which simply pulls out. Reverse to install and the front ring clips back in place with a bit of persuasion.

Ours may be a different model but, try a 1/8th inch or less, turn first then pull off. Wrecked the first fitting using the screwdriver trying to flip it off.
