Hi Im back again for a bit more help if possible. First of all Happy New year Campers! Hi De Hi! :):)
Ok back to serious stuff.......... I have my late 80's Lunar Clubman caravan project/rebuild coming along a treat dispite what the Hebridean Weather has thrown at us things are coming along well. Ive been renovating the kitchen units etc and theres a niggle (yes I know its small :) ) with my mixer tap. Its all fine all working but the top tap nut that secures the tap handle down is missing from the cold tap. Be nice if I could find one as it has the blue colour jewelled piece in the top to go with the red hot tap. Even if I could get a nut without the jewelled piece with that resess in it Im sure I could find a blue jewlley thing in a craft shop. So any ideas anyone? Its Chrome by the way. I know Im being a bit picky, just like things to look right and everything else is looking tidy in the kitchen units.
Have a great day everyone!

I've had problems with my old Lunar Clubman taps as well. Sadly they're quite old now & nobody on here seems to know anything about them, not even what make they are.

I would be interested to know if you manage to source any spares for these taps, as the original spindles, which carry the washers, are faulty by design. 4 out of my 6 have been replaced at some point in the past, the other 2 I've had to glue the washers on to obtain anything like reasonable flow rates (which has worked surprisingly well actually).

My kitchen ones are leaking past the top O rings, but I may just leave well alone there & mop up as I go (it only happens when they are opened, & it's only a dribble).

Have a look at my thread & see if they are the same, if the screw has come out there may well be good reason. It screws into the plastic spindle & without it the tap handle often won't turn the spindle, as the plastic de-forms & needs the metal screw to fill the hole & make it rigid. (difficult to explain really).

Anyway, HERE is my thread, which I'm just about to update.
