Hi
I have only ever had a tracker fitted to a car but the person who fitted refused to say were it was as if owners knew were they were fitted then it put owners at risk of violence from thieves wanting to know were it is then steal your vehicle and remove the tracker.
I belive the dots are uniquely coded to your van and can be put onto various components oven, fridge etc so if stolen and recovered can be itentified.similar idea to smart water.
regards

Hello.

I don't know about the Avondale but on my Ace the black box is the alarm unit, not the tracking device.

Hi ant2001, tracker are fitted in various locations on all vans, you are not told where the device is placed for security reasons, if you do not know where it is the less likely a potential thief will know. And it would be very doubtful is the tracker manufacturer or fitter would give you this information. ( security).
