if it is a whale type fitting look behind the pump inlet on the inside of the caravan, there should be a screw surrounded by a nut.undo the nut and turn screw in and out to adjust. see how too........

Are you sure it has pressure switch. The last Challenger i had was a 2001 and that had Micro-switches on each tap.

good point, check to see if there are wires going to the taps.if so you have a micro switch system. tiny switches inside each tap that are operated when you lift the lever. Post last edited on 05/03/2012 12:22:16------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Thanks again to all who made helpful suggestions it turned out to be a pressure switch. The problem we had was that we heard the whale pump work when no taps were on! At the time the 240 mains link was disconnected and I now believe it was that the battery was too low as now on mains link up problem appears solved. Does this make sense.

Quite possible that the pump was running, but slow, due to low voltage and unable to make enough pressure to cut out.
