Hello folks

New to the site and to caravaning, wish I had found this site before I puchased my caravan, so much good advise and know how.
I was wondering if anyone has used Caravan Care in Houghton-le-spring Co Durham, they are a mobile service and repair company, I have a problem with my fridge and in there advert they show a Thetford logo, any recomendations for them or any other company in the north east of England would be great

once got the advice about fridges, disconect it . remove it from the cupboard area. and up end it 2 or 3 times. the cooling system has no moving parts and a film can form on the internal fluid thats heated up to cause the cooling effect, worth a try b4 spnding money. th eprob with mine woz when we bought it he said it only worked on gas. found out on hol . the vents had film on the back blocking them compleytely.......... took it of its wrkd ok since.

I phoned the guy and he said it sounded like my battery, but also said it could be something simple so dont rush out and get a new battery until he checks it out, Ive booked a habitation service, which I needed anyway and he is going to check out the fridge then, he cant do it until April though, so will update the results then.
