My 2007 Ace Award awning light is not working. Bulb is good but there are no volts coming to the unit. Just inside the door on the right is a double switch. One switch operates the downlighter just above but the other switch seems to do nothing. Is this the switch to operate the awning light but for some reason is not supplying power?

Question -

If the supply to this particular switch is dead can I tap into the live feed to the other switch to route onto the awning light switch

Thanks

Bob

Hello

If it is the same as my Twinstar then, yes, the second switch by the door operates the awning light.  BUT the awning light itself also has a switch on it.  Mine is accessed from inside the wardrobe.

Make sure this second switch is in the "on" position.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Yes I have tried all switch combinations but it seems there is no power reaching the switch.

We found a mouse nest under the drawer unit next to the switch so possibly the little blighters have chewed through the wiring. Ho Hum !!!

I will try to trace the wire back with my meter to the source.

Any further advice from anyone would be much appreciated.

Bob
