Hi all,ive got my thoughts on a seasonal pitch (365days per year)my thoughts are raising the floor in the awning so as if floods occur then hopefully the stuff on the on the floor will remain dry.my first thoughts was decking.but then i thought a more cost effective way would be a coated loft boarding on a frame of 4 x 2 .what have you done and does it work?

When we had our caravan on a seasonal pitch we also raised the floor in the awning.  We used pallets and overboarded them with chipboard.  We then put an awning carpet on top and various mats.

Hi
we are on a seasonal and used small pallets overlaid with loft boards, ground sheet then carpet.
we have also put extra roof and support poles in for the awning. Hope you enjoy it - we do!
