My Hurricane GTX has a Thetford toilet, how do I fill it with clean water ?. My old van had a funnel in the outside compartment, but cant find any thing for this one. I am wondering if it fills up automatically when filling up the vans water system. Then the next question is how do I drain it ???
Any idea which model it is, as they do vary.
Perhaps have a look at this list of Thetford user manuals and see if yours is listed for full instruction guide.
some caravans have a toilet filled from a fresh water supply in the caravan,ie.on board tank.look outside to see if you have a lockable flap about 4 inch long by three inch wide.if so this is a filler cap for the header tank.

I have just bought this van and thought Id clean the water system etc, check out all appliances before taking the van out.
Turned the tap on in the kitchen, only to have water spurting out from the neck of the tap !!!, had to empty the system and now need to replace the Tap.
