I bought a truma mover with my new caravan 4 years 6 months ago. After 2 years and 2 months the control unit packed in so I bought another control unit for £180.00. Now after a futher 2 years and 4 months the new control unit has packed in.I have now replaced it for a further £307.00.

I should have scrapped the whole thing but the van was stuck in my drive.

Would I buy another Truma or recommed to a friend? I think you can guess the answe to that.

unfortunatly the warrenty was 2 years and the origional dealer had ceased trading.

I could have argued for the second replacement but dealers wanted money up front to order one.

The money is a major factor but I was stuck with the van in my drive. (I cannot move the van in or out of the drive without a mover) reliability is a major factor for me.

I am going to get a new mover with a long warrenty and a home repair service.

I assume when you say power control unit you mean the box that goes under the bed with a small aerial attached? When I had a Reich they were able to repair it rather than me having to buy a new one so it might be worth doing a search to see in there is anyone out there that does repairs.
