before travelling i checked my lights, all were working ok----have not used the van for 6 months, anyway when i indicate left, the flasher works ok but the front and rear side light blink along with the flasher ---is this an earth fault?

i think its possible there is water in the rear light unit making a short.or two wires connecting inside the plug.
