When removing my fridge (Truma I think) to repeair the damp in the van the pipe from the fridge to the vent simply disintegrated in my hands! I've had a search on ebay but I'm not totally sure what it is I'm searching for! All I seem to find is ducting for heaters. It's a fairly small diameter so any idea what I should be searching for or where I can just buy a replacement would be fab! Thanks

You could look for the parts in the links the other guys have posted, or look up Electrolux Flue Vent Kit which is the same sort of thing.

I'm surprised it fell apart, what was it made of?

The Electrolux/Dometic flue is aluminium tube.

It appears that the previous owners had used heating ducting to connect the fridge to the vent. With this being the first caravan I've had I knew no different, no surprise I couldn't find a replacement! I'm guessing they couldn't get hold of the correct part... Or they bodged it

If they used normal steel heating ducting and you had damp in the area, its possible some electrolytic corrosion had taken place, hence the aluminium disintegrated

It was a kind of foil tube made in a spiral with some coating on the outside. Anyway, I'll try to get the correct flue but the model of fridge I have was discontinued in 1996 so I'm hoping the replacement model's flue will fit.
