We currently have a 510/4 2006 ranger, series 5, it has been pretty good. We are looking at getting a different van as we want a different layout, we are looking at the 540/6. I am happy to get the 2008 model, but my Husband wants a change from the series 5 because of the risk of the problem to the front panels that we have been reading about.
Was it all the series 5 that had a problem, or had they fixed it by 2008?
2004 2005 2006 all years had problems with panels, cracking and water ingress.would think 2008 is ok BUT dont be afraid to ask for a damp report ,service report, and warranty when you buy.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
My advice would be to keep away from any Bailey after the problems we have had I would never buy another Bailey. This is just my thoughts I surpose you could say that about any make of caravan,we have had 5 vans in the past and never had problems like we have with the Bailey,we have fixed all our problems at a cost with no help from Bailey at all but a lot of thanks to all the people on this forum.Ian
