I am going away(for the 1st time!) in my 20 year old Swift Dannette on Thursday and we have tested everything is working but cannot get the water to heat up. The Carver is on, has its green light(as in the manual) but still no hot water even after running it for ages and emptying half a water roller! Am I doing something really obvious wrong?

If you look at the back of the heater there maybe a trip or reset button make sure its not tripped..?

On my carver (2?) on the front there is a small cover that swings up - you may need to loosen a screw to move it.  Underneath the cover is a red reset button - try pushing that.
