You can measure it with a pair of inside calipers or,if uve the old piece just measure the flat on the back.------------- Animals have feelings..

i slid a wood screw head inside the rail to touch both sides tight but without sticking and measured this across the head.------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Is it possible to get rails custom made for older caravans? I could do with replacing both on mine.

would not think so unless you can find a breakers yard with the same caravan you may need to change all of it.

problem is like on our old van the trim over time shrinks with age as it dries out.to the point of falling out round the door frame on the motorway.lucky it was ok and put back with clear silicone.
