I bought a new battery when i had my motor mover fitted no other previous problems regarding charging the old battery but now i've put the new battery in and the gauge in the caravan is only showing about 80%. I've had it on charge for about 30 hours and no change. How can i determin which isn't working correctly? Could the battery not be capeable of charging to 100% after maybe being sat on the shelf for a long time or do i have a problem with the charger? I'm starting to lose the will to live with this loads of problems with the mover and now the battery or charger. Help please.

a charger on a caravan will not give a fully charged battery.it will only go to 13.5 volts max when on charge.buy a meter £6 touch both sides of the battery,a fully charged battery is 12.7 volts without EHU connected.if only 12.3 volts then it is getting near half charged.connected to EHU the reading on the meter will show 13.5 to 14 volts if it is charging as it should. see
