hi all,
i have a 96 abi award brightstar which appears to have a fanmaster mk 1 heating system, when i turn it on to blow heating the light flashes for a while then stays on as if its starting up and the heater gets hot but the fan moter dosnt kick in therefore no blown air , ive connected the fan direct and it works, could it be the pcb? any ideas please?

Sounds like the control board needs reparing see here for a fault finding flowchart and more details.

Yes the boards gone down and in my experience, only caused by a worn fan motor. The only real solution is to also fit a new motor or it will only be a matter of a short while and a new board will go the same way as the last.

Of course I can do this all for you and then you will have the piece of mind of my long warranty.
