Yes birdman is correct, you need a switch that only makes contacts connect when you push it in, these are called 'push to make' and if there are no suitable other connections on the switch as birder suggests, then if you are near to a company like Maplins, they have quite a few different sizes & colours of these types of switch, or even try their website here.
