Hi ..have posted this in tents and trailer tents but someone recommended asking you caravan people!
Does anyone have any tried and tested methods of preventing condensation under matresses. We have a roof tent with a 'caravan-wall' type base but I'm sure that anything that works in a caravan (or boat) would benefit us.

Ours are the slatted bases too, so don't have the problem anymore.
We used to just put an old blanket or towels underneath before.

There is something they call 'aquamat'. This is a type of mat to be positioned underneath the mattres/bed, which transports/guides the damp/water to the outside. I have seen reports from satisfied people.------------- WL
