My Truma blown air heating system is on the blink... The unit operates perfectly on gas and the fans work, but when operating on mains it cuts out after a few hours (usually in the middle of the night!)

Fuses are all ok and the dealer can find nothing wrong. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as it's getting annoying (and cold!)

Oh, and occasionally won't work on mains at all.

possibly the element has failed or is failing. could be condensation in the element run it on gas for a few hours then change over.
