16amp automotive cable should do the job for a long run. Halfords or any car or caravan shop will stock it.

If you have 230V and 12V cables the 12V cable should be insulated for 230V.

The regs for caravans only says 12V and 230V cables must be run seperately and must both be insulated to 230V and doesn't refer to ducting, The regs concerning circuit segregation specify an either or situation they must both be either insulated to 230V or in seperate trunking.

Can't see the reason why  but to be on the safe side it's probably easier to use 230V insulation then you can't be wrong.

when i made my own trailers i used 7 core cable.i have found this is good for other jobs as you only need a small hole to thread it though and you can branch off wherever you need to.saves having to tie the cables together too and easy to fix down by cable clip.also designed for outside use so you could go under the floor from one end to the other.
