It depends on how badly bent it is, if its just the channel thats narrowed in a few places, you can buy a tool to straigten this from most good caravan accesory shops.
Anything more than this and you may be looking at ordering a new awning rail and having it shaped to fit by the supplier using their specialist tools, as the alloy that this is made of will soon become brittle and snap if overworked by trying to unfold any tight creases.
We had some experiance on doing this with our old Avondale when we tried to iron out a kink in the front downright after we slipped exiting a muddy farm gate track, but in the end we simply ordered a new ready shaped piece from our dealer, and managed to fit it ourselves.
