Hi, new member from New Zealand here. I hope someone has some ideas for me. We have an Elddis Vogue 1998 caravan with a carver 1800sc blown air heater. This might seem a dumb question, but can you only use it with gas, or does it work on the electrics too?
Also, when tried on electric, no warm air comes out - fan works but not warm.
Thanks

hi i have same caravan and heater . open the wardrobe above the fire. lift up the hinged wardrobe bottom floor panel to get to the back of the fire. now feel around the plastic caseing of the fire for a reset button . it doesnt feel like a button more like a piece of the plastic body that presses in . i found it hard to find the first time  . you should get electric heating again once reset.

If your 1800SC gas fire is fitted with electric heating, then you will have a control switch with 5 lights, two of which are marked, electric auto, and, electric slow.

If so then they can trip out if things overheat, you will see where to press and reset it Here

Why do you think I went to all the trouble of making the mock up? you should try writing 'PRESS' neatly on that rough plastic?!

Seriously, I was fed up to the back teeth of saying it's 9inch down and 7 inch back... blah blah blah... so as they say, a picture paints a thousand words

Sorry by bad. We’ve never used the fire. So I’m wondering how to get it going? I’ve checked under the wardrobe floor as above. I can see a brown panel.
