hello all,i have a window roller blind that has fly net and blackout roller..one night in the van we heard like a twang sound from the roller blind, what has happened is that it wont wind back up on its own automatically..we found inside the roller pole it had come off the long spring,we screwed it back in little oil as well but alas nothing,i have removed it all from van to try and fix indoors, but neither blind rolls all the way back to the top.any help is greatly appreciated..thanks mike n judy....or if unable to sort it were is best to get a repacement new or used. this is on a avondale,it has no adjuster screws...just blind clips into one side and on other thin bar that is spring loaded fits into slot, the bar rotates in spring like action, but has lost its springyness to inable it to go all way back..

may help

on the bailey ranger you have to unscrew the top and bottom screws that hold the blind and runners to the body of the caravan, then you can move the blinds and runners from side to side, move to the right and lift the actual blind unit out of the runners then to the left and lift out the unit, then you have just the blind unit in your hands.when you have got this far on the left hand side of the unit there are two screws, one for the fly blind and one for the blackout blind, adjust as neccessery but when you release the screw do it slowly so that the adjuster ratchet can slot back into place, then just re-assemble,easy.

the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Mike you have to keep pulling it out and let in wind back in a good few times to re-tension the springiness ,had this when we bought ours last year ,if you need a hand I,m in flint

P.s the wife just reminded me it took 3 of us to get it working o.k ,it's not a quick fix job ,nearly went down road a few times in temper ,but we got there in the end
