Hi gang, can someone tell me if it's ok to use 3mm hardbord to replace damp panel that I have removed, its at the back of the van which has the bunkbed above & window in middle then I was going to cover it in that contour paper, what ya think ??

and was going to ask the same - theres only 5mm ply here in co antrim or 3mm hardboard
marine ply is the only option but jeepers its pricey
A quick search shows a company called MS Timber in Belfast who have 3.6mm ply (found in their panel products guide) They only sell to the Trade but a call to them might put you in touch with someone who resells. it.MS Timber
I would never use hardboard in a situation like that. It has virtually no structural strength, is hygroscopic (soaks up water) and will bulge between fixings which in a short period of time will pull through the hardboard.
