I have just taken my 16 yr old Lunar Meteor out of winter storage. When pushing the caravan into position to hitch up with the car I noticed it was almost impossible to move the van forward, the left hand wheel appears to be the problem. Pushing it backwards is no problem and the handbrake is working fine. The handbrake was dis-engaged over the winter. I towed the caravan a short distance home with no problem however when I got home we had the same problem positioning the van in the driveway.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Sounds like it is over adjusted. Jack it up remove the rubber plug from behind the brake plate, then using a flat bladed screwdriver about 6-8mm wide back the adjuster wheel off until the wheel rotates freely when rotated forwards
