Hi, I have converted my two 7 pin sockets to a 13 pin socket on my 2007 Vauxhall Vectra 1.9ctdi. I have not connected to the caravan yet (in storage) but to a trailer board instead. All indicators brakes fog and side lights are working ok. The problem is that the audible buzzer in the boot not only sounds with the indicators but goes crazy when the rear fog light is switched on. I have checked the socket it seems to be ok pin 1 yellow, pin 2 blue, pin 3 white, pin 4 green, pin 5 brown, pin 6 red and pin 7 black. On the s cable I have not used the blue or brown cables.
I think the problem is now sorted. I stripped the socket down and started again. I believe a stray strand of wire was causing the problem.
