There's no discernible difference between them in their efficiency, they are both mediocre.
The earlier version works slightly differently with regards to the power supply, although most folk are oblivious to this as they both connect up and look the same. The colour of the logo screen printed on the power-pack/booster, must match that of the aerial's logo (purple or orange logo) to function correctly.
I've recently upgraded from a 330 to the directional 560, which has proved a superb improvement so far.
I fitted mine myself so no ide on a dealers supply and fit charge. I had a good deal on the Status 560 aerial (new local accessory shop, 20% discount offer) plus I'd already got a tube of Sikaflex to seal; the job is fairly easy to do.
If you call your usual service agent/dealer etc., I'd bet they would give you a price over the phone as I suspect they've fitted these before.
