I have made and fitted some extra drain off points to the water system in our ranger two in the wash room and two between the hot water tank and the kitchen sink where the pipes run through the floor

i made the Tpieces out of 10 mm copper pipe and turned some brass stop ends in the lathe threaded to take stainless allen bolts ,  i was suprised how dirty the water was that had been trapped in the pipes that ran through the floor this had been in the pipes all winter  i

i filled the system with sterilising solutionleft it for a morning  then flushed it through the pink water is what would have been left in the pipes draing down normally

I am an engineer but would not of wasted my time making up pieces when you can buy push fit tees and drains off the shelf.
