Hi all hopefully someone has a tip !

On a couple of my blind/flyscreen's the bracket at the base of the vertical runner is hanging down as the screw has pulled out from its hole.

The wood is not damp or soft but I am struggling to screw in a wider screw because there isn't the space in the bracket and the slightly wider ones I have used have all pulled out.

Any advise would be graetly appreciated as this is one of those niggles that I would love to sort.

A common problem. A plastic wall plug or rawl plug with a little glue or similar pushed into the hole and left to harden before refitting screw should do the trick. B & Q if you don't have plugs.

Self drill nylon plug is just the job. No glue just screw it in and job done.

Trouble is finding one less than 25mm. Most are circa 30mm so need trimming down.
