Anyone have any recommendations on what I could use to remove some sticky residue that has been left behind on one of the windows ?
As usual the CRIS sticker has peeled away from the side window and just looks a right mess. I would like to remove the sticker completely, but not sure what I should use to remove the residue.
Any idea / tips ?

Tried WD40 but it doesn't seem to be shifting.
No idea what they put on these CRIS stickers, but the residue left behind is dry and not sticky, but it leaves a right mess.

If the remnants are dry, I'd heat gently to soften the debris (hair dryer etc), then try and peel what you can and try finishing off with WD40.
Sometimes it's best to soak the area and leave for a short while, so you could stick some kitchen roll just below the sticker (to catch the drips) and then give the area a pretty good spray with WD40, leave for 2-3 minutes then get the cloth on it to finish.------------- Paul

Managed to get it off in the end with something I forgot that I had got.
It's called 'Sticky Stuff Remover' (Great Name) and it shifted all the residue very easily.
This is it if anyone is interested.

clever,
I had the same problem, I used (recommended by someone on hear) AUTO GLYM Intensive TAR Remover. Rapidly removes Tar, Adhesive, Grease, Wax, Oil and silicone.
Works a treat. I purchased mine from Halfords.
ALSO if you phone CRIS, ask them for another label, mine came within a couple of days, Free.
Andy.
