When mine was up for renewal I had some time to spare and spent a little of it shopping around on the internet.

Having looked at several the one marketed through the Caravan Club came out best for me.  That might not be the same for you of course.

Most of the policies available in the market provide similar "comprensive" cover, the main variation being a choice between 'new for old' or 'indemnity' cover.

Remember, the cheapest premium may not be the best.  Look at the whole package

The company NOT to insure with is E & L as there have been several threads on here in the past regarding the poor customer care. They often refuse to pay out and when they do it's so time consuming apparently. I insure with Caravan Guard and if you mention UK Campsite you get a further discount off the policy. What I specifically like is the fact there are no push button options and always get throught to a real person straight away. An insurance company can only be defined as good when you have to make a claim but according to the feedback on this forum many say how good they are. The underwriters are Royal Sun Alliance so they are a well respected company that have a good reputation plus they insure all the Motability cars.
